Worrying about your heart is tiring, and most people carry it quietly for a while before they book anything. Whether a result came back abnormal or something simply hasn’t felt right, having it looked at is what ends the guessing.

Most heart problems are found through routine checks rather than emergencies, and most are manageable once someone is actually looking. Heart assessment, ECG and 24-hour monitoring are available here, and your GP arranges specialist referral where it is needed.

🚨 Do not wait for an appointment if you have symptoms now. Chest pain, pressure or tightness, pain spreading to the arm, neck or jaw, sudden breathlessness, or a racing heart with dizziness or fainting: call 000. Do not drive yourself. Heart attacks do not always hurt the way people expect, and it is better to be checked and sent home.

Heart testing done on site

  • ECG. A recording of the heart’s electrical activity, done in the clinic.
  • 24-hour Holter monitoring. Fitted here rather than at a hospital, worn for a day, reported by a cardiologist. Bulk billed for eligible Medicare cardholders.
  • Blood tests. Cholesterol, lipids, kidney function and diabetes markers, collected on site.
  • Blood pressure, as part of a heart health check.
