At Baldivis Family Medical Centre, we’re equipped with a modern treatment room and experienced nursing staff to safely perform a wide range of minor procedures and diagnostic tests onsite. Common Procedures We Perform
- Cryotherapy – Freezing treatment for warts, sunspots and other skin conditions
- Biopsy of Skin Lesions – For diagnosis of suspicious moles or growths
- Excision of Skin Lesions & Cysts – Removal of lumps, bumps, or skin cancers
- Wedge Resection (Ingrown Toenail Removal) – Relief from painful or infected toenails
- Implanon Insertion & Removal – Long-acting contraceptive implant procedures
- Iron Infusions – For patients with low iron or iron deficiency anaemia
- Wound Care & Management – Including cleaning, dressing, and follow-up for acute or chronic wounds
- Ear Syringing – To clear built-up earwax safely and effectively
Diagnostic Tests Available
- ECG (Electrocardiogram) – A heart rhythm check to assess for cardiac abnormalities
- Spirometry – Lung function testing to assess asthma, COPD and other respiratory issues
- Pulse Oximetry – Quick, non-invasive test to measure oxygen levels in your blood
- Venesection – Controlled removal of blood, often used for specific blood conditions
