Psychologist
Mr Lakers Komaiya is a Clinical Psychologist who works with adolescents and adults, providing a safe, supportive, and non-judgemental space to explore challenges and work towards meaningful personal goals. He takes a holistic approach to therapy, considering the role of life experiences, environment, and individual strengths in shaping thoughts and behaviours, and is known for his warm, empathetic, and empowering style.
He holds a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours, First Class) and is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). He is a Fellow of the College of Clinical Psychologists (FCCLP) and a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and the Australian Association for Cognitive and Behaviour Therapy (AACBT).
Mr Komaiya has worked with people from diverse cultural backgrounds and is the author of Developing the Greatness Within You and Good2Great Parenting. He also facilitates workshops and has featured on 98.5 FM radio, sharing practical strategies to support mental wellbeing and personal growth.

$100 deposit required DNA is full appointment cost.
Dr Laker’s is a Clinical Psychologist who does ADHD and Autism Assessments and
standard Psychotherapy appointments
He is not able to prescribe any Medication as he is not a psychiatrist.
He requires a referral from a GP or other practitioner.
NO AGE PREFERENCE
He comes every second Thursday as opened by Admin staff, beginning at 10am and
finishing at 2pm unless there are more patients, which has to be confirmed with Dr
Lakers.
Part 1 and Part 2 of the Assessment is 1hour 50mins, with Part 3 being 1 hour.
Psychotherapy is booked for 1 hour unless Dr Lakers Specifies otherwise
